The Cabin was born from a project studio in 1993. We have been honing  our skills
as engineers as well as musicians since the late 1980's. Starting out in high school with 4-track tape, (remember when 4-track tape was a thousand bucks?) we moved in the early 90's to 8-track reel-to-reel, and early forms of D.A.W.

In 1996 we entered the world of ADAT and it has been our primary medium
ever since.
Keeping up with technology, in 2004 we integrated Pro Tools.
It has been our vision that using ADAT side-by-side with Pro Tools allows these approaches to complement each other in various ways.

So that's a little about the Cabin's roots.
Through hard work, education and commitment, we
look toward a future of great recording.
